The international success of the Heineken brand has numerous reasons, one factor is above all else: the quality of the beer. The key to the taste, aroma and sparkle of Heineken Beer lies in the unique Heineken A-Yeast, a strain that was first isolated and cultivated by Heineken’s founders in 1886. The yeast is flown every month from the group’s main brewery in Zoeterwoude, the biggest brewery in Europe, to locations around the world where the beer is brewed locally. This famous A-Yeast and strict production process ensure the beer has the same quality and excellent taste everywhere in the world.

An international beer enjoyed by millions of people the world over, the Heineken name has become synonymous with premium quality beer. No wonder why the Heineken brand was elected the Dutch “Brand of the Century”. Heineken is a lager beer with 5% alcohol by volume. In the market, Heineken is available in 330ml cans, bottles & Heineken draught.

Launched in 1932, Tiger is Asia Pacific Breweries Limited's flagship brand. A European-style lager with a golden colour and medium body, Tiger is brewed using only the finest natural ingredients like malted barley from Australia and Europe, hops from Germany and a unique strain of yeast specially cultured in Holland. Containing 5% alcohol, this smooth, medium bitter beer, coupled with a well-balanced sweetness of malt, has seen beer drinkers globally acclaim Tiger as one of the finest in the world.

Over the years, Tiger has received much acclaim from the world's leading newspapers and journals than most other beers. In 1988, the Washington Post, in a blind taste-test involving several hundred brands, unreservedly voted Tiger “positively the best beer in the world”.

Tiger has also accumulated over 40 accolades, awards and distinctions. Some of the more notable awards include a Gold medal at the Brewing Industry International Awards in 1998, the equivalent of “the Oscar Awards for the brewing industry”; and the more recent being a Gold medal in the highly contested European-Style Pilsner category at the World Beer Cup 2004, which has been dubbed “the Olympics of Beer Competitions” by the beer industry. Over in UK, Tiger was named a Cool Brand Leader from 2004 to 2006. This recognition reaffirmed Tiger's popularity as it was given only to the coolest brands in the UK. Tiger comes in 330ml cans, 330ml pint and Crystal bottle  and 500ml pint bottles, and 20 liter draught kegs
